We had a foster dog 2 years ago that was a seniors girl named Betty White (I know @daverubin would approve that name) that got adopted out to an older single guy and it seemed to be just another happy tails story... we have adopted out close to 300 pets to date ❤️ 💙
Unfortunately for Miss Betty, the piece of shit owner abandoned her 20+ miles from his house yesterday. She was brought to the local shelter by police that found a stray dog with heat stroke. She still had the microchip with our rescues information and we were able to confirm her identity after the shelter texted us pictures of her in recovery.
The owner was contacted and said he is going to the shelter today and is going to sign the paperwork to euthanize her bc she doesn't get along with his cat. Our farm is full, but I'm not going to give up on Betty... headed to the shelter now to get her. Hopefully our puppies get adopted doon so we can have more room.
The guy blocked my wife and the director of the rescue on FB and IG...all his posts were stupid leftists nonsense so that tells me all I need to know...

Sunset trail ride was extra fun the other night. Usually when I'm on Parker I stick to walk and maybe trot...but we let it go a few little sprints this night. Good times 🤠

The wife, her twin sister, and her best friend (our neighbor) went to the auction in Ocala this weekend. I am glad they took the two horse trailer and not the four horse trailer...
Welcome to the farm Titan (name to be changed) and Calvin. Titan is our new pony and Calvin will be going up to the neighbors farm after he completes quarantine with Titan (I'm thinking Cowboy for his name).

We are without power, but our property was pretty much unscathed. Here's of you from our neighbor's house You can see our property down and into the left in the picture. They lost a hundred plus year old oak tree in front of their house but luckily no property damage other than a little gutter repair needed. Will be doing lots of chainsaw and trailer work today. Going to get caught up on my audiobooks and past podcast I haven't caught in a while. You all stay safe post hurricane hopefully none of y'all have to travel but if you do, take your time and travel safe!
